It is reported that Rep. Yoon Hee-sook's father said that he had purchased farmland while he was looking for a building to invest in in connection with the alleged violation of the Farmland Act.
Rep. Yoon's father said in an interview with a media company yesterday (26th), "I was looking for an investment place, and when I read the newspaper, I saw a building, so I went to see it."
It is said that Rep. Yoon's father said that he heard about the farmland by accident while going to see the original building related to the farmland.
In this regard, Rep. Yoon's mother said in a conversation with a SBS reporter that she and her children did not know about the purchase of farmland and would donate the land.
Regarding the suspicion of his father's violation of the Agricultural Land Act, Rep. Yoon explained, "I was not involved in the process of purchasing my father's land at all."
"Rather than accusing me of a resignation show, I earnestly ask that the majority party, the Democratic Party, pass a resignation letter at the plenary session and complete the resignation."
