“Three organizers of the movement, born in 1964, 1971 and 1977, have been identified and detained, they have been charged,” the press service of the department reports.

The reason for the initiation of the case was the materials about the organization in the capital of the activities of the "Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses" * in Russia ", recognized in the country as an extremist organization.  

According to the investigation, from 2017 to 2020, a group of people organized the work of the local religious division of the above organization in Moscow.

Earlier, in the north of Crimea, the activities of two members of the organization "Jehovah's Witnesses" were suppressed.

In early August, as Novy Sevastopol reported, one of the organizers of the Yalta cell of Jehovah's Witnesses was detained in Crimea.
