The number of cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine in 24 hours increased by 1,581 - up to 2,278,171, follows from the data on the website of the monitoring system for the spread of the coronavirus epidemic of the National Security and Defense Service (NSDC) of the country.
During the day, 45 patients with coronavirus died in Ukraine, another 1269 people recovered after infection.
The total number of deaths associated with COVID-19 increased to 53 566, the number of discharged cases - up to 2 203 429.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided to extend the adaptive quarantine until October 1.
