The Saudi Press Agency reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at NEOM Palace.

The agency added that the Qatari Foreign Minister handed the Saudi Crown Prince a message from the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The agency indicated that the meeting discussed bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as regional and international developments and issues of common interest.

The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed today, Wednesday, in the Saudi city of NEOM, the amended protocol for the minutes of the establishment of the Qatari-Saudi Coordination Council, which is considered a mechanism for advancing bilateral relations and partnership between the two countries, according to what was stated by the Qatari and Saudi news agencies.

The signing came after a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani with the Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Acting Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban.
