Government agencies in Abu Dhabi return to maximum capacity on September 5

The Department of Government Support in Abu Dhabi has approved the return to work at the maximum capacity inside the workplaces of government agencies and companies in Abu Dhabi, while continuing to implement precautionary measures to protect the health and safety of employees, starting from the fifth of next September.

The Abu Dhabi Government Media Office stated that, starting from the fifth of September, employees who are vaccinated or who are exempt from vaccination must show the status in green on the Al-Hosn application, to allow them to enter workplaces, and conduct examinations in accordance with government protocols.

Unvaccinated employees must have a nasal swab test every seven days.

In the event of non-compliance with the examination dates, the employee’s failure to enter the workplace shall be considered an interruption from work, and the period shall be deducted from the balance of his periodic leave, even if he does not have a balance that shall be deducted from his total salary.

The vaccinated customers must show the green pass, and the non-vaccinated customers are obliged to present a negative test result, not more than 48 hours old.

It is allowed to work “from a distance” for one of the parents, who have children in the tenth grade or less.
