25 August 2021New success for women's Italian volleyball at the European Championships. Davide Mazzanti's blues won 3-0 against Croatia. These are the partials of the meeting: 25-15, 25-23, 25-14.



The national volleyball team, seeking redemption after the disappointment at the Tokyo Olympics, thus took the lead in Pool C. The match was played at the Krešimir Ćosić Sports Hall in Zadar. Tomorrow Italy will face Switzerland (8 pm on Rai 3) in the last match of the group. Previously, the Italians had beaten Belarus 3-0, Hungary 3-0 and Slovakia 3-1.



The European Championships take place in Serbia (Belgrade), Bulgaria (Plovdiv), Croatia (Zadar) and Romania (Cluj-Napoca).



The 24 participating national teams are divided into four groups of six teams. The top four of each group move on to the round of 16, scheduled from 28 to 30 August in Belgrade and Plovdiv.
