In detail, the spokesman for Dubai Civil Defense said that a report was received to the administration's operations room at about one and three minutes yesterday afternoon, stating that there was a fire in a plastics warehouse in the Al-Khabaisi area, so the firefighting and rescue teams of the Port Said Civil Defense Center moved immediately as the respondent. The first was in the area of ​​jurisdiction, then teams moved from the Ras Support Center.

He added that the firefighting and rescue teams arrived at the scene of the accident six minutes after receiving the report, and discovered that the fire engulfed the entire warehouse because it contained highly flammable plastic materials. .

He pointed out that the field commander of the firefighting and rescue teams announced, after about an hour and 20 minutes, that the fire was completely under control, stressing that there were no injuries or deaths as a result of the fire, attributing the thick cloud of smoke that covered the sky of the area to the nature of the burning materials that usually leave many fumes.

The spokesman explained that the firefighting teams began cooling operations after they had finished controlling the fire to ensure that it did not ignite again before handing over the site to the competent authorities to conduct investigations and find out the circumstances and causes of the accident.

For its part, the patrols of the Dubai Police General Command participated in securing the vicinity of the accident and working to achieve a traffic flow to help civil defense vehicles and teams reach the site of the accident smoothly and carry out their duties in extinguishing the fire.
