The school year for the new students started on Monday.

For many students, the academic year begins with introductory courses to help students find their way back to normal studies after several semesters of distance learning.

At the beginning of last school year, a difference was noticed among students who came from distance education, that they had more difficulty studying and absorbing facts.

Markus Sundhäll, senior lecturer at Örebro University, believes this is because they have not studied in the same way during distance learning, as they usually do when they have lessons and lectures on site.

- We see that the students have had problems seeing what kind of information they need to sort out and not, says Sundhäll.

In order for the students to get back into their usual study techniques after a long period of distance learning, the staff at Örebro University came up with a solution that will hopefully help.

- We saw that there was a great need for this type of investment, says Markus Sundhäll, senior lecturer at Örebro University.
