Of the more than 60 permanent residents of Nornäs in the municipality of Älvdalen, today almost 30 people have a foreign background.

Relocation has taken place from Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany.

This at the same time as the number of Swedes in Nornäs in a few years has decreased from around 50 to 30 people today.

The nature that attracts to the village

Marion Bammer and her family moved there a few years ago and this summer her mother has also moved permanently to Nornäs from Germany.

- It is nature that attracts and that there are so many opportunities here. It's just a matter of looking around, says Maron Bammer, who works remotely on behalf of German banks.
