A three-story building has collapsed this afternoon in the Castellón town of Peñíscola and people remain trapped inside, as reported by the Castellón Provincial Firefighters Consortium.

The accident has occurred for causes that are being investigated around 8:00 p.m. and it has been confirmed that there are people inside, according to the same sources.

So far, five fire crews from the Rescue and Rescue units (URS) have been mobilized to the site, supported by the Canine Civil Protection Unit of the Castellón Provincial Council and the Machinery and Logistics unit.
