- One should look at socio-economic situations, segregation, domestic violence and the family situation, says Soha Osma, founder of Ung och Trygg.

She works voluntarily to create meeting places for young people and adults, and lectures on security issues in Husby, among other places.

She is critical of the fact that Brås' report, which shows an over-representation of foreign-born among criminal suspects, focuses on the country of birth of the persons.

- Of course you have to find a way to understand who the people are, but at the same time you have to understand why it happens to these people.

This is where the problem lies.

- Now it sounds very much like people who have parents who were born abroad become criminals.

Like it has a connection to their culture and biology.

That is not right, says Soha Osman.
