Guterres said the organization is working to keep employees safe.

“Now that we are faced with this new challenge, we are working to provide you with the necessary supplies and send teams of specialists to support.

We remain and will continue to do our best for your safety and to help the long-suffering people of Afghanistan, ”Guterres added.

Earlier, the UN Secretary General expressed his hope for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
