During the International Military-Technical Forum, the contract was awarded to General Director of NPO Mashinostroyenia Alexander Leonov, ”the ministry said.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko called the timeline for the completion of state tests of the Zircon hypersonic missile.

In July, the frigate Admiral Gorshkov successfully launched the Zircon hypersonic missile from the White Sea. She directly hit a target on the coast of the Barents Sea, which was at a distance of 350 km.
