We consulted with a subcommittee to create a new policy to be applied to the four prefectures of Saga, Nagasaki, and Miyazaki.

The government's "Basic Coping Policy Subcommittee", which is made up of experts on infectious diseases over measures against the new coronavirus, has been held from 7:30 am earlier.



Among them, the Minister for Economic Revitalization Nishimura said that Hokkaido, Miyazaki, Gifu, Aichi, Mie, Shiga, Okayama, etc. In addition to adding eight prefectures in Hiroshima, we consulted on a policy to newly apply priority measures such as spread prevention to the four prefectures of Kochi, Saga, Nagasaki, and Miyazaki.



He explained that the period will be from 27th to 12th next month, which is the same as the area covered so far.



If the approval of the subcommittee is obtained, the government will make a formal decision at the response headquarters after prior reporting to the Diet and questions.



If decided according to the government policy, the target area of ​​the declaration will be 21 prefectures, and the area to which the priority measures will be applied will be 12 prefectures.
