It has been more than 29 years since that June evening when 22-year-old Helena Andersson disappeared after a party night in central Mariestad.
Her body has never been found.
But today, a man in his 60s was arrested on reasonable suspicion of having murdered her.
- If it's the right person, it's really good, because it's one of the parts of everything you live with.
That you should not be allowed to do this and just live on as if nothing has happened, says Helena's sister Gabriella Andersson.

On Monday, a man was arrested who is said to have appeared in Mariestad during the current evening when Helena Andersson disappeared.
He has previously been involved in the investigation, but not as a suspect.
- When there is such a commotion as it is now today when you have this person, then the thoughts become like a dryer, where many of these things that lie all the time are there.
