Broadcast on Médiapart and its social networks, this meeting will be simultaneously broadcast on the Twitch channels of its columnists Usul and Ostpolitik, authors of the videos "Open the quotes", and thus "commented live by Internet users", underlines a press release.

This debate is in addition to the two others already planned between the five candidates for the ecological nomination for the presidential election of 2022, namely the deputy Delphine Batho, the MEP Yannick Jadot, the mayor of Grenoble Éric Piolle, the former number 2 of EELV (Europe Ecologie Les Verts) Sandrine Rousseau and the entrepreneur Jean-Marc Governatori.

Debate between the two finalists on September 22 on LCI

The two finalists will also meet again on LCI on Wednesday September 22 at 8:45 p.m., the first round of this primary organized by five environmental groups (EELV, Générations, Mouvement des progressistes, Génération écologie and the Independent Ecologist Alliance) taking place from September 16 to 19, and the second from September 25 to 28.

The debate organized by Médiapart inaugurates a series of monthly "live events" intended "to take the pulse of the country in this presidential year", in addition to the daily newspapers of "In the open air", "within the editorial staff or" outside the walls ”, according to the press release.

Aired from Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m., “In the open air” will reopen on September 6 with a “reinforced” team and will now be broadcast live, also announced Médiapart, which intends to “air the public conversation in a media environment conservative ".

Born during the spring 2020 containment, this show reaches an audience "younger, more diverse" than the traditional subscribers of the online media, according to a spokesperson for Médiapart, who claims "more than 5 million views on Youtube and 40 million views on Facebook ”over the period 2020-2021.
