The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, during its meeting yesterday, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced the gradual return to the attendance education system for the 2021-2022 school year in all Dubai private schools, as the school year begins with giving parents freedom of choice. Between “existential education” and “distance education”, provided that everyone commits to full attendance education on the school campus starting from next October 3, in addition to the return of various school activities while adhering to all precautionary measures as a major factor for the safe return to private schools in Dubai. Considering that the school is the primary incubator for students' ambitions and their ideal place to pursue their education directly and within an interactive educational environment.

The committee’s decision comes within the implementation of the basic safe plan for the gradual return to private schools, after a process of coordination and consultations with parents and private school operators in the emirate, while adhering to precautionary measures and health requirements to preserve the health and safety of students, educational and administrative staff.

The rate of vaccination of private educational staff in Dubai reached 96%, and 70% of children between 12 and 17 years received the vaccine against the emerging corona virus, confirming the emirate's proactive approach to caring for the health and safety of all members of society.
