“In the Gunibsky region, as a result of a short-term rainstorm with hail, the water level on the Kvartal river rose and about 15 tourists were blocked on the Karadakh gorge.
According to preliminary information, one tourist was carried away by the stream of water, ”the source said.
Earlier it was reported that a rockfall occurred in the Cherek region of Kabardino-Balkaria, under which two climbers fell.
As a result of the emergency, one of the victims died.
