This Sunday, the gendarmes of the Antibes nautical brigade intervened on a yacht near the Lérins Islands, off Cannes, where a party was in full swing.
The police had been arrested by the sound volume coming from this boat flying the Italian flag while they were on patrol, according to the maritime prefecture,
"The party which took place there led many other boats to concentrate around this yacht", writes the maritime prefecture in a press release, "a potentially dangerous grouping in terms of safety of navigation and source of noise nuisance".
On July 6, an order was made to limit noise pollution caused by parties aboard yachts in the Mediterranean.
An infringement report was drawn up and sent to the Marseille maritime court.
