He said that, before coming to the country, travelers can apply to register their data on the authority's website or smart application, and attach their vaccination certificates issued from outside the country, noting that all types of vaccinations that have been approved by the World Health Organization are approved in the UAE.

Al-Saadi said, in a media statement about the registration mechanism for arrivals to the country and the protocol for approving vaccination certificates issued from abroad, that the passenger registration service was recently launched in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Health, with the aim of facilitating the procedures for travelers to enter the UAE before their arrival. Through it, the application is filled out, data is entered, and vaccination certificates issued from abroad are attached.

The authority indicated, on its website, that there are seven approved vaccines in the UAE, which are: "Sinopharm", "Pfizer - Biontech", "Sputnik", "Oxford - AstraZeneca", "Johnson & Johnson", and "Moderna" and "Jamalica (Sputnik)".

It called upon applicants for passenger registration to take into account that the personal data is shown in the vaccination certificate, and that the certificate clearly contains the name of the vaccine, the date of taking the doses, and ensuring the effectiveness of the “QR-CODE” on the vaccination certificate, and in the absence of a “QR-CODE” on the certificate. Vaccination certificate, it is required that the certificate be attested in accordance with the procedures for attesting official papers and certificates in force at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

She explained that before traveling to the emirate, the visitor must register on the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship application or its website, through the "Arrivals Registration" service, fill out the form and attach documents proving the vaccination status, and then the visitor receives a text message that includes a link to download the Al Hosn application.

Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, the visitor obtains the unified number at the airport or through the application of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship or its website, and registers on the Al-Hosn application using the unified number, the phone number registered with the authority, or the personal phone number when conducting a nasal swab PCR examination in Country.

The visitor receives a one-time password (OTP) to complete the registration procedures on the Al-Hosn application, which enables the user to view his health status, vaccination information, examinations, travel and use the QR code.
