gunfight took place near the north gate of Kabul Airport, Afghanistan on the 23rd local time.



One Afghan soldier was killed and three others injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on Afghan government forces, Reuters reported.



The US seems to speed up the evacuation operation, such as evacuating 10,400 people by sending 28 transport planes in the last 24 hours alone.



However, there are also voices that it is virtually inevitable to extend the current withdrawal deadline set to 31 days.
