The tennis world number one Ashleigh Barty has secured the women's title at the tournament in Cincinnati and thus won the dress rehearsal for the US Open.

The Wimbledon winner from Australia won on Sunday 6: 3, 6: 1 in just 71 minutes against surprise finalist Jil Teichmann from Switzerland.

Barty had prevailed against Angelique Kerber in the semifinals and already celebrated her fifth title this year.
