Vaccines: in Sicily narrow in 55 municipalities, immunized share below 60%

22 August 2021 There are 55 municipalities in Sicily with a low percentage of vaccinated people of less than 60 percent and with an incidence of infections in the seven days (13-19 August) of more than 150 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.

For these centers, the president of the Sicily Region, Nello Musumeci, has signed an ordinance that provides for a permanent table between Asp and mayors to reach the targets of the immunized, the use of masks even outdoors and containment measures for private events (buffer in the previous 48 hours).

For the municipalities of Barrafranca and Niscemi, on the proposal of the Asp, the orange zone was arranged.

: Pace del Mela, Rodì Milici, San Filippo del Mela, Santa Lucia del Mela, Villafranca Tirrena; in the
