"I think she has great chances," said Stenberg.

Viktor Barth-Kron agreed.

- You can speculate wildly.

Then maybe she's going out tomorrow and saying she does not want to.

But there is much to suggest.

And I do not think you want to choose another man.

Now you have a chance to choose that woman as prime minister that Sweden has not had as almost the only western country, he said.

At least there will be no outsider, Stenberg said.

- It is not possible to take a process that takes a long time now and take a chance on someone who is inexperienced.

Those he has singled out as his successor are the circle that has been around him.

Expect more glow

Both Stenberg and Barth-Kron believe that Magdalena Andersson can show a greater ideological fervor than Löfven.

- She has a pretty strong political pathos when she puts that side to, Barth-Kron said.

- I think she is a sharper debater and a bigger ideologue, but she may have a harder time keeping the party in a good mood, Stenberg said.

No new government crisis

None of them believe that there will be a government crisis before the election, regardless of how the budget or the election of a prime minister goes after the change of party leader.

- There are four parties, the Left Party, the Center Party and the Green Party in addition to the Social Democrats, who are in the same boat. It should not be impossible for them to handle this, said Viktor Barth-Kron.
