Former British Prime Minister Blair has criticized US President Joe Biden for avoiding naming, saying that the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan was a political decision rather than a strategic one.

Former Prime Minister Blair, who strengthened relations with the United States during his tenure as Prime Minister, decided to join the US military operation against Afghanistan in 2001.

Blair wrote on the website of his top think tank yesterday, pointing out that the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan was a political decision rather than a strategic one.

He then criticized President Biden, avoiding naming, saying that he had withdrawn from Afghanistan following the stupid political slogan of ending the'longest war'.

"It's time to end America's longest war," Biden said in April when he announced his withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Blair also pointed out that Afghanistan should take advantage of this situation to put pressure on the Taliban, saying it relies heavily on support from the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom.
