In Ganzhou, Jiangxi, beside the Du River, the Central Red Army’s Long March Departure Monument stands majestically.

　　In October 1934, the central Red Army set off from Yudu and other places and began the great Long March.

Our party led the Red Army, with extraordinary wisdom and fearless heroism, overcoming all kinds of dangers and making great sacrifices to successfully complete the long march that shocked the world and shined through the annals of history.

　　In October 2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the meeting to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army’s Long March that the Long March, which shocked the world and flourished in the annals of history, announced the complete failure of the Kuomintang reactionaries’ attempt to eliminate the Communist Party of China and the Red Army, and declared that the Communist Party of China and the Red Army are shouldering the responsibility of the nation. Hope that victory realized the strategic shift from north to Japan to resist Japan, realized the great transition of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese revolutionary cause from setbacks to victory, and opened up a new and great march of the Communist Party of China in the struggle for national independence and the liberation of the people.

　　The long march, a great feat in human history, has left us the most precious spiritual wealth, which is the great Long March spirit that the Chinese Communists and Red Army soldiers have forged with their lives and blood.
