"According to the updated forecast of the Far Eastern UGMS, taking into account the predicted precipitation on the Amur River near the city of Khabarovsk, an additional rise in the water level to 650 cm is expected by August 24-27," the message says.

It is noted that at present the water level near Khabarovsk is 607 cm, which exceeds the dangerous value established for this place at 600 cm.

Earlier, the authorities of the Jewish Autonomous Region (JAO) decided to introduce an emergency regime in connection with the flood on the Amur River.
