China News Service, August 21. According to a report from the Russian Satellite Network, sources from the shipping service company GAC said that the container ship "Longci" finally left the Suez Canal in July after being detained for several months.

On August 20, local time, the ship passed the Suez Canal again safely, which was also the first time it passed through the Suez Canal after leaving Egypt last month.

The source said: "The Long Ci successfully passed the Suez Canal. Traffic on the canal is normal." The container ship was escorted by two tugboats.

The picture shows the "Long Grant" staying at the Great Bitter Lake of the Suez Canal.

On March 23, the freighter "Changci" ran aground on the Suez Canal and severely blocked the river course for the next six days.

According to statistics, a total of about 450 ships were blocked in the Suez Canal as a result of the grounding accident.

On April 13, local time, an Egyptian court approved the application submitted by the Suez Canal Authority to formally detain the "Long Grant".

Since then, the owner of the "Changci" has negotiated several times with the Suez Canal Authority on the amount of compensation and the cause of the accident. In the end, the two parties reached a compensation agreement, and the "Changci" sailed away from the Suez Canal on July 7.
