“They don't need the truth about Crimea, their only interest is to arrange a propaganda Sabbath of Russophobic witchers on the banks of the Dnieper,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Molokhov noted that as part of his speech, he planned to talk about Kiev's sabotage against Crimea, including water and energy, and about the sanctions policy.

“Apparently, the Kiev authorities were afraid that the world community would find out that there was no occupation, that this was a myth created by Ukrainian propaganda,” he said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the Crimean Platform forum planned by the Ukrainian authorities a Sabbath.

The summit is scheduled to take place on 23 August.
