Jeon was admitted to Sinchon Severance Hospital on the 13th, amid rumors of health abnormalities.
The diagnosis was known as 'multiple myeloma', a type of blood cancer.
Attorney Joo-Gyo Jeong, who is the legal representative of Jeon, said, "It is true that Mr. Jeon was diagnosed with blood cancer." He said, "It is impossible to receive direct chemotherapy. "He said.

In this case, it is expected that a setback in the appeal proceedings will be unavoidable.

Previously, Jeon was sentenced to 8 months in prison and 2 years of probation in the first trial for defaming the late Father Jovio.
After 9 months, he appeared at the appeals trial, but after sitting on the defendant's seat and drowsing, he left the courtroom with complaints of health problems within 20 minutes of the trial.
