20 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in 31 provinces, including 4 local cases

According to the official website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 20 new confirmed cases from 0-24 on August 20, including imported cases from abroad. There were 16 cases (4 in Guangdong, 3 in Yunnan, 2 in Beijing, 2 in Shanghai, 2 in Zhejiang, 1 in Tianjin, 1 in Inner Mongolia, 1 in Fujian), 4 local cases (2 in Shanghai, 1 in Jiangsu, 1 case in Hubei); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

　　On the same day, 51 new cases were cured and discharged, and 3,275 close contacts were released from medical observation. The number of severe cases decreased by 21 compared with the previous day.

　　There are currently 739 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 11 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

A total of 8,056 confirmed cases, a total of 7,317 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on August 20, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1786 confirmed cases (including 33 severe cases), a total of 88,177 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths. A total of 94599 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases.

A total of 1,155,895 close contacts have been traced, and 38,133 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 20 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); 3 confirmed cases (all imported from abroad) on the same day; 26 medical observations were lifted on the same day ( 21 cases imported from abroad); 508 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (414 cases imported from abroad).

　　A total of 28,018 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Among them, there were 12,049 cases in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (11,761 discharges and 212 deaths), 63 cases in the Macau Special Administrative Region (59 discharges), and 15,906 cases in Taiwan (13,550 discharges and 827 deaths).
