  According to reports, during the first visit in September, senior IAEA officials will meet with Japanese officials and technical experts in Tokyo and Fukushima.

The IAEA will begin to assess whether the discharge of nuclear sewage has an adverse effect on people or the environment.

  According to previous reports, on April 13, the Japanese government convened a cabinet meeting to formally decide to discharge nuclear sewage from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the sea. This move caused many dissatisfaction.
