A T-shirt depicting Afghan citizens who fell while trying to escape from a U.S. transport aircraft has been controversial.

On the 19th local time, the New York Post reported that some online shopping sites such as TShirtAtLowPrice.com and Tee4Sport are selling T-shirts with the phrase 'Kabul Skydiving Club' on sale.

According to the report, this T-shirt was designed with a picture of two people falling from a US transport plane to escape from the Taliban-controlled Afghan capital, Kabul.

The t-shirt maker posted on the product detail page, "The scene of two people falling hurts us, but in the end it all depends on how you feel."

In addition, the company posted ridiculed articles such as "This T-shirt is becoming a phenomenon as word of mouth spreads on the Internet" and "It is the best suit for people who are interested in skydiving or who like to jump out of airplanes."

When the news of the sale of the 'Kabul Skydiving' T-shirt was spread through SNS, netizens poured criticisms such as "It's really disgusting", "I think I'm out of my mind", and "Using a tragic accident for details".

After receiving criticism from public opinion, some sites stopped selling the T-shirt.

Holly Daygris, a senior research fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank for international affairs, said: "They have commercialized the suffering and misery of Afghans. .

Earlier on the 16th, after the Taliban took over Kabul, Afghan residents tried to escape by boarding a US transport plane. As the aircraft took off, some civilians who were hanging from the wheels fell to the ground and died.

Local media reported that Afghan national football team player Jaki Anwari and his teenage brother who sold fruit fell to death.

In addition to these, bodies believed to have died at the time have been found all over the country, he said.
