The Taliban, who will take power in Afghanistan, have blocked most imports and exports from India, its largest trading partner.



According to India's ANI news agency, the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) said on the 18th that "trade with Afghanistan has been suspended after the re-takeover of the Taliban, causing a disruption in import and export logistics worth millions of dollars."



India is Afghanistan's largest trading partner, and cargo between the two countries is usually transferred from Pakistan to import and export.



The Taliban have blocked cargo import and export routes through Pakistan.

"In fact, we are Afghanistan's biggest trading partner. This year, Afghanistan's exports amounted to $835 million (981.5 billion won) and imports were worth $510 million (600 billion won)," the Federation of Export Organizations of India said. said.



India exports sugar, medicines, clothing, tea, coffee and spices to Afghanistan, and imports dried fruits and onions.



India has also invested 3 billion dollars (3.5 trillion won) in about 400 projects related to the construction of national infrastructure (SOC) such as dams, schools and roads in Afghanistan.
