The star striker Kylian Mbappé lives "quietly" the rumors around his future at Paris SG, assured Thursday his trainer Mauricio Pochettino, repeating that he was counting on him this season.

"As I said before, Kylian is our player. I do not see him not being with us this season," said the Argentinian technician, on the eve of the Ligue 1 match in Brest, from the center of PSG training in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

The future of the French international is the subject of intense speculation, as his contract expires in June 2022.

The negotiations that drag on between Mbappé and the Parisian leaders, who want to extend it, maintain the hypothesis of a departure of the player before the end of the transfer window on August 31.

Real Madrid would be in line to welcome him, according to the press.

Thursday morning, the Spanish sports dailies Marca and AS made their "headlines" on the striker.

"Real do not give up," assures the latter.

"It's a period (the transfer window) that I take with humor. It is part of football. There are a lot of things that are said. The most important thing is that Kylian lives it quietly," said Pochettino.

"My discussions with him are of a football nature. If he does not extend, he remains a player for PSG. I'm happy with him, and I believe he is with us," he continued .
