National Police
have arrested
a man
in
Almería
who exhibited a firearm, which lacked documentation, when he was about to order a drink inside a hostess located in the
Retamar
neighborhood
where he went with some friends.
The events took place around 10:30 p.m. this past Tuesday, as indicated by the Police Station in a note, in which it has detailed that the investigated does not have a weapons permit to carry and possess them.
Upon arrival, both the detainee and his two companions went to order a drink, at which point one of them took out a 'Star' pistol with a short nine-millimeter caliber and placed it on the bar "in a threatening attitude."
Following the notice of the witnesses, several agents appeared at the premises and ordered everyone present to lie down with their hands stretched out in view and their palms up.

The detainee, in addition to failing to comply with the order, "put his right hand on his waist and took up the weapon", which led to the "quick reaction" of the police, who pounced on him to prevent him from "making use" of the weapon. .
During the superficial search carried out on the detainee, a small bag with a narcotic substance and 970 euros in cash were also found.
The arrested man has passed to the disposition of the Court of Instruction number 4 of
Almería
, accused of a crime of illegal possession of weapons.
