46 new confirmed cases in 31 provinces, including 5 local cases

　　Chinanews, August 19, according to the website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 46 new confirmed cases from 0-24 o'clock on August 18, including imported cases from abroad. 41 cases (11 in Tianjin, 10 in Guangdong, 6 in Yunnan, 5 in Shanghai, 4 in Fujian, 1 in Beijing, 1 in Inner Mongolia, 1 in Zhejiang, 1 in Henan, 1 in Sichuan), 5 local cases (Jiangsu) 3 cases, 1 case in Shanghai, 1 case in Yunnan); no new deaths; 1 new suspected case, which is an imported case (in Shanghai).

　　On the same day, 67 new cases were cured and discharged, and 2,546 close contacts were released from medical observation. The number of severe cases decreased by 1 compared with the previous day.

　　There are 759 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 11 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

A total of 8011 confirmed cases, a total of 7252 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on August 18, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1866 confirmed cases (including 61 severe cases), a total of 88044 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4636 deaths. A total of 94,546 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 2 suspected cases.

A total of 1,154,405 close contacts have been traced, and 41,706 close contacts are still under medical observation.
