President Moon Jae-in announced today (19th) that he would expand support for infertility treatment costs and provide support for two additional treatments.

President Moon said, "In addition, for women under the age of 44, we will uniformly lower the co-payment rate from 50% to 30% depending on the number of procedures. .

The cost of treatment for infertility is 3 to 5 million won at a time.

The Moon Jae-in government has applied and expanded health insurance for infertility treatment, and 270,000 people have received support so far.

President Moon said, "In an era of low fertility, we plan to expand national support for infertility-related treatment expenses."

Meanwhile, President Moon announced that the target of cervical cancer vaccination will be expanded from the current female adolescents under the age of 12 to those under the age of 17.

He added, "We will make sure that all young women and adolescents can receive free vaccinations," adding, "We will provide free vaccinations for women between the ages of 18 and 26, starting with the low-income bracket, and gradually expand the target range."
