The US Air Force announced the start of an investigation into the deaths of Afghan civilians who fell from a military transport plane after taking off from the capital's airport last Monday.

And footage broadcast by Afghan media last Monday showed citizens recovering the bodies of people who fell on houses after clinging to the tires of a plane that took off from the airport in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

Last Monday, local media and activists circulated shocking videos of Afghan citizens clinging to the wheels of a US military plane as it took off from Kabul Airport before falling from high altitudes.

The clip shows the American plane preparing to take off, while hundreds of Afghan youths are running in front and around it, a number of them clinging to its wheels as it continues to walk on the runway.

Activists also broadcast another clip showing a passenger on one of the planes lifting a person to an open door on the plane, and the other person was able to get on with the help of others on the ground, without knowing his fate.

Another clip showed a group of people standing around the body of a person who fell on a house after clinging and others to the tires of a plane that took off from Kabul airport.

And there were dead and wounded people at Kabul International Airport on Monday morning as a result of chaos and stampede and the firing of American forces in the air after crowds of Afghans invaded the airport runway, hoping to escape from the country after the Taliban took control of it, after which the airport authorities announced the cancellation of all commercial flights.

US soldiers are responsible for securing the airport to help evacuate US embassy staff and foreign diplomats from several countries, as well as other civilians who want to leave after Taliban militants took control of most of the facilities in the capital.

And crowded large numbers of Afghans at the airport in an effort to get out of the country after Taliban militants entered Kabul last Sunday.
