“It was established that this community was created in September 2020 for the purpose of carrying out illegal activities and united radical citizens for the violent change of state power,” the General Prosecutor's Office of the republic said.

According to the ministry, the leaders and members of the organization "not only discussed, but also started committing acts of terrorism on the territory of Belarus" in order to destabilize public order and influence decision-making by the authorities.

“From today, the activity of this structure on the territory of our country is prohibited: the decision of the Supreme Court has come into legal force.

Any further actions related to leadership, recruitment, training and participation in the activities of this organization will entail criminal liability, ”the press release says.

In early July, the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko announced that all the "sleeping" terrorist cells, aiming to change the power in the republic by violent means, had been opened on the territory of Belarus.

As of the end of July, more than 4,200 criminal cases related to extremism and terrorism were initiated in the republic.

Also on August 13, the authorities recognized the Belarusian information and service Internet portal TUT.BY and its analogues in social networks and instant messengers as extremist.
