August 18, 2021 "In a fraternal spirit, I join this message of hope in a brighter future. Thanks be to God and the work of many, today we have vaccines to protect us from Covid-19. These give the hope of ending the pandemic, but only if they are available to everyone and if we collaborate with each other ". Pope Francis said this in the video message to the peoples on the vaccination campaign against Covid-19.
"Getting vaccinated, with vaccines authorized by the competent authorities, is an act of love - continues the Pontiff - And helping to ensure that most people get vaccinated is an act of love. Love for oneself, love for family and friends, love for all peoples ".
"Vaccinating us - says Bergoglio - is a simple but profound way of promoting the common good and of taking care of each other, especially the most vulnerable. I ask God that everyone can contribute with their own little grain of sand, their own little gesture of love. However small it may be, love is always great.
