“Nikolai Patrushev and Pankaj Saran discussed issues of further cooperation between Russia and India in the security sphere, exchanged views on a number of problems on the regional agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan,” the TASS Security Council quotes.
The parties also touched upon the topic of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
On August 18, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed the situation in Afghanistan.
