Afghanistan has been conquered by the Taliban, which is why the question of how to help the many local workers who have supported the Bundeswehr and German organizations over the past twenty years is becoming more and more pressing.
FAZ objection host Corinna Budras talks to the Düsseldorf asylum seeker Marcel Keienborg about how this can work.
In the “What was” section with Pia Lorenz, we deal with the decisions of the Federal Constitutional Court on the amount of interest on back tax payments and tax refunds, as well as the controversial reform of the electoral law, which will probably preoccupy politics for a long time to come.
We discuss with the FAZ Feuilleton correspondent Patrick Bahners the decision of the Beck-Verlag to rename important works of its publishing program in order to ban the names of old Nazis from the names.
At the end, Pia Lorenz gives an outlook on what's coming and presents us with the fair verdict of the week.
