"The plane was piloted by a crew consisting of chief pilot of Il PJSC, 1st class test pilot, Hero of Russia Nikolai Kuimov, 1st class test pilot Dmitry Komarov, 1st class test flight engineer Nikolai Khludeev," TASS message to the UAC.

It is noted that the fate of the crew is currently unknown, rescue operations are underway.

Rostec reported that they are creating an internal commission with the involvement of specialists from aircraft building research institutes and factories to investigate the causes of the Il-112V accident, which crashed during a training flight in Kubinka near Moscow. 

The representative of the corporation clarified that the aircraft was experienced and was in the testing stage.

Earlier it was reported that an accident occurred near the Kubinka airfield near Moscow during a training flight of an experienced military transport aircraft Il-112V.
