China News Service, August 17 According to the website of the Chinese Embassy in Uganda, for some time, the embassy in Uganda has successively issued relevant notices on applying for health codes.

In accordance with the latest domestic requirements, in order to facilitate the compliance of the majority of tourists to China, the embassy is now further updating the relevant application requirements and issuing them as follows, which will be implemented from today:

  1. All passengers who take flights to China must upload nucleic acid and nucleic acid within 48 hours before boarding through the international version of the epidemic prevention health code applet or the web version (https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5) in advance. Serum IgM antibody test (hereinafter referred to as "dual test") report, air ticket itinerary, valid residence certificate in Uganda, isolation certificate or health protection commitment and other materials, apply for a health code online.

  (1) Nucleic acid and antibody test report within 48 hours before boarding

  For details, please refer to the notice previously issued by the Embassy in the "Notice Regarding Passengers Flying to China with a Double Negative Certificate of New Coronavirus Nucleic Acid Test and Serum Antibody Test" and other notices.

  The negative test certificate may have multiple dates such as sampling time, test time, and certificate issuance time. The party concerned must fill in the test sampling date when reporting.

If the nucleic acid test sampling date and the serum IgM antibody test sampling date are different, the earlier of the two must be filled in.

If the test certificate does not indicate the sampling date, the party concerned shall fill in the earlier sampling date of the two tests according to the facts.

If the declared sampling date is later than the date shown on the test certificate, it will not be approved.

  (2) Valid residence certificate in Uzbekistan

  The valid residence certificate in Uzbekistan includes a valid visa and local driver's license, bank statements, utility bills, etc.

  (3) About the quarantine certificate or health protection commitment letter

  Self-isolation and closed-loop management must be strictly conducted within 21 days before going to China to avoid contact with the outside world.

The personnel of enterprises in Uzbekistan (including state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, joint ventures, etc.) must issue a quarantine certificate to the embassy and report the information of the passengers, quarantine, and company information.

  Persons who do not have work units must sign the "Health Protection Commitment" and promise to strictly implement self-isolation and closed-loop management within 21 days before going to China, including after testing, to avoid contact with the outside world.

  (4) Persons from a third country who come to Uganda by land or water via self-driving or other means of transportation and intend to take a flight from Uganda to China will be regarded as transit via Uganda, and the parties concerned shall conduct "dual inspections" in the place of origin and Uganda respectively. And apply for the health code separately.

If there is no health code review and issuance record of the embassy or consulate in the place of origin or the embassy or consulate in the place of origin allows only one transfer, the embassy will not be able to review and issue the health code for you.

  2. About persons with a history of infection

  For persons with a history of infection, including those with a positive result of nucleic acid test, IgM, and IgG antibody test (except for those who are positive for IgM antibody due to the new crown vaccine), the person concerned must undergo a lung examination after the illness has recovered. A diagnosis certificate issued by the hospital containing CT or X-ray results of the lungs, as well as two negative nucleic acid tests (at least 24 hours apart).

After that, the above-mentioned personnel need to carry out self-isolation management and health monitoring for at least 14 days. If the isolation monitoring is normal (ie no dyspnea, fever, dry cough, weakness of limbs, decreased or lost sense of smell and taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat) , Conjunctivitis, myalgia, and diarrhea and other new coronary pneumonia-related infection symptoms) and the nucleic acid test is negative, then perform the nucleic acid and antibody “dual test” within 48 hours before boarding, and submit all the above-mentioned relevant certificates (that is, the above-mentioned first 5 nucleic acid test reports including a positive report, antibody test report, hospital lung CT or X-ray diagnosis certificate, air ticket itinerary, valid residence certificate in Uzbekistan, isolation certificate or health protection commitment letter, etc.) to apply for green health from the embassy Code, otherwise the health code will not be issued for you.

  3. Close contacts of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections

  For close contacts of confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections, the parties concerned should submit a double-negative test certificate 14 days after the last contact with the confirmed case or asymptomatic infection without effective protection (i.e., if the The date of contact with asymptomatic infected persons without effective protection is September 1, and the date of testing and sampling should be after September 15), otherwise the health code will not be issued for you.

  4. About the vaccinated persons

  (1) Those who have been vaccinated must undergo a “dual test” of nucleic acid and serum IgM antibodies in accordance with regulations. For those who have a positive nucleic acid test result, the embassy will not be able to issue a health code for you.

  (2) For people who have been vaccinated and who are positive for IgM antibodies

  1. The embassy will present the negative certificate of nucleic acid test and the certificate of new crown vaccination (it should show the name, gender, date of birth, vaccination brand, date and place of the first and second doses of the vaccinated person, and the signature and endorsement of the doctor and medical institution. Chapter and other information) to review and issue health codes for vaccinated persons.

If the party fails to provide vaccination voucher, the embassy will not be able to issue a health code for you.

  2. If you are a member of a third country, the embassy will issue a health code with the negative result of your nucleic acid test in Uzbekistan and the vaccination certificate approved by the Chinese embassy in the place of origin.

  (3) For those who have not completed the vaccination

  For those who need two shots of the new crown vaccine, if only the first shot is completed, they will be treated as those who have not been vaccinated.

  (4) For those who only need 1 dose of vaccine

  If only one dose of vaccine is required, the nucleic acid and serum IgM antibody test within 48 hours before boarding of the person concerned should be carried out 14 days after vaccination (if vaccination is made on September 1, the pre-boarding test should be conducted after September 15 ).

If the test within 48 hours before boarding fails to meet the above interval, the person who has not been vaccinated will be handled.

  Five, special reminder

  (1) The term "review and issuance" mentioned in this notice refers to the embassy's review and issuance work in accordance with relevant policy requirements, and the specific results of the review by the embassy shall prevail.

  (2) Those who depart from Uzbekistan to China can only transfer once. For those who do not meet the requirements for the number of transfers, the embassy will not be able to issue a health code for you.

  (3) No matter where they transit to China, all personnel must apply for a green health code from the embassy or consulate of the Chinese embassy in Uganda before departure, otherwise it will affect your application for the green health code in the transit area.

  (4) In order to facilitate the verification by the embassy or consulate in the transit area, the relevant personnel in China shall save the screenshot after obtaining the health code issued by the embassy.

  (5) In order to avoid causing your losses, it is recommended that people with a history of infection complete CT or X-ray examinations of the lungs, two nucleic acid tests are negative, 21 days of self-isolation management, and health monitoring are normal before ordering air tickets to China.
