The power of the people canceled the presidential debate scheduled for tomorrow (18th), and instead decided to hold a political opinion presentation on next Wednesday, the 25th. The conflict between former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol and CEO Lee Jun-seok has been unraveled, but when one is resolved, another spark of conflict has arisen.

Reporter Lee Hyun-young will tell you the details.

Lee Jun-seok, who has omitted the usual greeting, enters the Supreme Council meeting with a firm expression.

[Lee Jun-seok / People's Power Representative: I have nothing special to say today.] After a

two-hour discussion, the highest level decided to replace the presidential debate held by the Presidential Election Preparation Committee for tomorrow with a press release on the 25th.

The camp of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who had been in a nerve war with CEO Lee over whether to attend the debate, made a brief statement saying, "I will actively engage in the debate when the bus for the competition starts in earnest."

The start of the competition bus was built on the 26th with the launch of the party's election commission.

However, there are signs that the conflict over who will be the bus driver, who is the head of the National Election Commission, will be rekindled.

There is an argument that it should be left to a person outside the party in order to manage the election fairly, but one of the top members mentioned the name of Kim Byung-jun, former chairman of the National Assembly, who was at the heart of the Roh Moo-hyun administration.

In addition to the chaotic atmosphere, gossip was added.

[Won Hee-ryong / Former Jeju Governor: I heard the word (word) that CEO Lee Jun-seok said, 'Yoon Seok-yeol will be cleared up soon'... I will not give an interpretation. It's just as it is.]

However, CEO Lee explained that he meant that the conflict with Yun Seok-yeol's camp would be resolved soon.

In the midst of this, Assemblyman Hong Jun-pyo officially declared his candidacy for the presidency, arguing that "only a flawless candidate can achieve victory in the opposition, and he is the most reliable candidate who has been tested and prepared."
