, the alleged thief opened vehicles, seized several bags and then went back and forth to a garage box, under the eyes of the police.

It was then that the police decided to intervene to arrest the suspect in flagrante delicto.

But the latter did not let it go: he struggled by stabbing the officers with a screwdriver while trying to take their service weapon from them.

One of the police officers was injured in the eye while another was shot in the lip with the improvised weapon.
