A shocking incident has occurred in the United States in which a 20-year-old mother was shot and killed by her baby.

On the 15th local time, foreign media such as Fox News reported that 21-year-old Shamaya Lin, who lived in Altamonte Springs, Florida, was shot and killed at her home on the 11th.

According to police, Lin was on a video call with co-workers at the time for business reasons.

But then Mr. Lin's baby came behind Mr. Lin with a loaded gun, and a loud gunshot rang out in an instant.

Colleagues on the phone are known to have witnessed the scene where Lin's body fell backwards with a roar.

Lin's boyfriend, who was out at the time, discovered the accident site belatedly.

After receiving a report from Lin's colleagues and boyfriend, paramedics rushed to the scene and found Lin bleeding while sitting in front of a computer. I quickly checked Mr. Lin's condition, but he had already passed away.

Police explained, "In the house where Lin, the baby, and Lin's boyfriend lived together, the gun was placed without any safety device." The case is expected to close without further investigation.

A colleague who watched the situation at the time said, "At first, I didn't think he would have been shot." "After Lin's body fell backwards, blood began to flow from her nose. I also heard the baby crying loudly from behind."

Altamonte Springs Police Department said they are handing out trigger locks to anyone who visits the police station. "There are so many ways to prevent this tragedy."

This is a 'news pick'.
