Mattias Dahlgren is one of the principals at Berzeliusskolan in Linköping.

He looks forward to the students' return.

- It feels fun as always here in August.

Now they want the students here, especially now that not everyone has been in place during the spring term, he says.

The infection increases

At the same time, there are indications that the spread of infection is increasing again.

According to the Swedish Public Health Agency, the spread of infection is no longer at a low level.

- There is no widespread concern in the staff group.

But there is a concern that we will end up in the same situation as last year when the students had to start on site, but then move on to distance learning later, says Mattias Dahlgren.

Due to the situation, the first day of school will not be as usual, among other things, appeals and the like will take place outdoors.
