Abu Dhabi Police replaces traffic violations with "flowers"

Abu Dhabi Police implemented a "hand in hand" initiative in Al Ain, through which it replaced a number of traffic violations with awareness tips and bouquets of flowers for drivers, as part of its efforts to enhance traffic awareness, and urge drivers not to commit violations in the future. The awareness card included the type and value of the violation and an awareness video for the violation itself during barcode scanning.

The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department in Al Ain, Lt. Col. Saif Mohammed Al Ameri, stressed the Abu Dhabi Police's interest in the safety of the public before issuing any violation against violating drivers, pointing out that the initiative enhanced field awareness by informing drivers of the importance of avoiding and avoiding the accumulation of violations and included various roads in the city of Al Ain.

The patrols stopped a different segment of drivers and gave them awareness tips on the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations, in addition to distributing bouquets of flowers and brochures to motivate them to practice safe traffic driving and to respect road users of different categories, pedestrians or motorcyclists to deliver orders and others.
